Dr Seuss 03

America in the 1920s: The author Theodor Geisel is in a creative crisis. He meets his future wife and muse Helen Palmer, who inspired him to write childrens books under the pseudonym "Dr. Seuss "to publish. With titles such as "And To Think That I Saw It On Mulberry Street" or "Horton Hatches The Egg" he gets a great reputation. Before and during the Second World War, he drew political cartoons, supported the Democratic Party and Franklin D. Roosevelt. Above all, after the war, he focuses on writing books for the children who are learning to read. His simple-language works "A Hangover Makes Theater" and "How Grinch Stole Christmas" make him world famous. For Seuss start turbulent times - best material for a biopic!
